That is the key for him i think. He looked tired after 3 games in the first set. If he works on his fitness he might be able to move up, but he definatley needs improvement there

Murray has to many options hes doesnt need to play all or nothing tennis.
Nothing boring about him. Great performance ...that should keep the murray haters at bay!

Andy didnt even play his best tennis and still won...US Open is looking good! Loved it when he asked him at the end is your shoulder alright, he doesnt miss a trick, im sure some countys teach their players all the dodgy gamemanship tactics!

It may take a bit longer because of his frame, he wants to be careful not to bulk up too much that it slows him down and replaces one weakness with another.

But no other player screams come on at his opponent's mistakes. Murray cannot play attacking tennis. Period. When forced to do that, he sucks badly. Near the net he's worse than me. He has no volleys. At the US Open he will choke in the QF's or SF. There's plenty of guys who can overpower him.

Hewitt used to be painful with that, calling out "Come On" from opponents errors.

I agree, screaming when an opponent makes mistakes is pretty low.

Where you joking when you said murray was fun to watch?
His tactics may let him win, but saying it is fun to watch is not what i would say?

Andy doesnt choke. hes one of the best fighters out there. Attacking tennis is great controlled playing within your limits is better  Maybe he had no volleys today but as a rule hes pretty decent.

COME ON!

I think people take it in the way its meant to be taken, many players do it. maybe not as much as Andy but to be honest they probably dont even notice. Its about pumping himself up rather than putting off his opponet.

Come on!!!!!!

I think Murray should get a lot of credit for the physical condition he has got himself in, a couple of years ago it looked impossible to think Murray could consistently play the way he does now because his body would not hold up.

Now he seems so confident he can outlast an opponent he seems content to make it physical, I think he will need to change that to win a major but I could well be wrong.

He got one less winner than Del Porto, so maybe try and back up your claims rather than just jumping on the band wagon! Sorry i am a Fed fan really but this murray bashing on here is getting silly, i thought you guys would know better!

The fact there is a big come on at the end of your quotes, keeps us going as well

I dont think it has gotten to far, i just dont like to see him barely swing at the ball and win. I want to see some shotmaking and you could see some of that from del potro.

Im not trying to make it personal or anything, just dont like the way he plays

lol i was actually admiring murray, not bashing him....i meant, he seems not to do anything and thats why everyone hates him, but he has very good shots, plus defence, which makes him a great player...

not probably n2 though

I haven't bashed him, I wouldn't compare him to typical scramblers like Hewitt and Coria who I really did not like to watch. He is very fit and very few players can actually take the pace off effectively like Murray does, his style is just very unorthodox. I think it is his attitude that seems to alienate people but if he's winning I doubt he is to bothered.
