TOMO is really good on executing risks...the stat is impressive but not surprising.

Fredz_x, short cross court angles shots are very much possible even without risk. You just need to be in the right position, have enough time, and use top spin.

Oh yeah, just had a match with the newcomer Josenylund (though I'm relatively new as well lol), I lost 3-6 7-6 3-6. He's very good in all aspects. I just wish I could play my returns better lol but great match nonetheless.

Your not the only one. I just played TOMO and he killed me 6-0 6-0 and i dont understand these really shortcross court shots literally just going over the net and going so wide i dont attempt to get it because if i did he would just risk the next shot so theres no point. And thats another thing, he was risking quite alot but had like 1 UE. Im sure his timing is perfect and his serve was acing me so basically i was just attempting to return any balls possible. My first serve win % was 12 and second was 0. I had 3 winners in all, well done me. I just dont know how you lot do it like the buttons to press which shots most effect ect and especially when serving 0.0

I haven't seen anyone who risks a lot and has 1 UE.

He was not risking a lot for sure.

Hmm yes he was.

hmmm no he wasn't.

Okay then Djarvik considering you know best all the time. No he wasnt risking. :L

brgerflipr wrote:He wasn't risking, trust me. I was on the receiving end of one of his beat-downs. He plays w/ a 6'9 guy w/ 85 speed that gets to everything. Add a 90/80 fh/bh set up, and he doesn't need to risk. A good charge and GREAT timing = a winner.

Just to let you know considering you may think you know everything to, he was using Federer. Stop jumping to conclusions like you know it all. Jesus ahem.

Edit; Im not trying to win anything or start arguments im just annoyed because "top players" in any game always think that they know it all when they really dont. :?

Fredz_x - are you for real? How old are you my friend? Just curious.

Here is my reasoning:

If he won 6-0 6-0 I don't see a reason for him to risk ALL THE TIME as noted by you. Judging by that score, you were not much of a resistance to him, it would be stupid to risk ALL THE TIME.

Second, I am relatively high ranked with enough experience to tell you, the only people committing 1-3 UE a match are the ones that don not risk at all!

Like Humbugerboy, Anteros, Coolhand and so on.

I don't know if you can follow the logic well, but tell me, why would someone want to RISK ALL THE TIME when he is winning every point with no risk :?

Is it safe to say you are not experienced enough in this game? ....or are you going to be arrogant and reply to me know "I have enough experience in this game to know a risk when I see one?"

WAKE THE F#$%^ UP!
8)

I though you were done with this game? ...if not, and you want to stop feeling sorry for yourself, let me know and I will gladly help you any way I can. I am always up for a good TS3 strategy and execution discussion!

Christ, the fact that i was in the game and that he was VERY good at risking he was using it as his main weapon meaning he was using risk every shot NEAR enough. Enough said im not getting into arguments for god sake if your jealous of TOMO speak to him but not me im just reporting on what happened in the match. He is a very very good player. Nothing is Impossible, if you dont believe me thats your fault and down to your own ego.

Edit; Just bolding some words which people dont read.

Moose party = distracting nonsensical phrase designed to draw attention away from bull-shit arguments.
