Just played andman666 with me as Berdych and him as Roddick winning 76 76. As you would expect serve was pretty dominant and there were no breaks.

I recovered a mini break in the first breaker before closing out. Then I had match point at 6-5 in the breaker but he hit a big serve, then he had a set point at 6-7 but I edged an epic rally before closing out when he hit an error.

FEDFAN-ANDMAN666
1ST SERVE % 92-81
WIN 1ST SERVE 76-78
WIN 2ND SERVE 75-93
ACES 3-3
DF 0-0
WINNERS 40-55
ERRORS 10-12
BREAK PTS 0/0-0/3
TOTAL POINTS 81-81

He got in to a few more of my service games than I did his which I think is why his winners were higher. Stamina became quite a big factor midway through the 2nd.

I enjoyed the match but I don't think Andman666 appreciated my risking but I don't think I overuse it except on returns, but given I didn't break I don't see how it helped me all that much.

That is a pretty crazy match, but I'm even more intrigued by your signature. I've never heard that Sampras quote, when/where did he say that?
It caught my interest because I've been playing more Grand Slam Tennis for the Wii than TS3 (until 2 days ago, I had a relapse  ), and in that game Stich is pretty bad unless he comes to net. He's a great volleyer, but according to EA his groundstrokes are SHIT. :P

He said that more than once. The first time around 1995, the last time in 1997 (when Stich finished is professional career).

Check out the Head-to-Head: 5-4 in favour for Stich. His style didn t fit in with Pete´s, so Pistol Pete had always trouble against him.

Just lost to patko 7-6 6-4.

it was all serve, and i never really got a look on his serve. in the game he broke, my character was doing funny things and he capitalised.

He was Nalby and i was my Stepanek. at one point i think he double risked one of my smashes back, i just managed to volley it back then he lobbed again but i put away the next smash. it was a fairly uneventful and unexciting match with VERY little rallies, but there were a few and they good when they came around

Just beat Patko7 6-2 6-2 as Berdych, with him as Nalbandian.

To be honest it was pretty one sided and I think the difference in power was the major factor here. He couldn't touch my serve, of which I made 100% 1st and won 89% of the points against his 72% and 64% respectively.

I made 38 winners to 4 errors, him 19 winners to 11 errors. He just wasn't able to get the ball past me and whilst he got most of my serve back I was just nailing the 2nd ball.

I didn't need to serve and volley, the returns were landing in the middle of the court so I just swotted them away. Typical route 1 tennis really.

Even with the right stats I really struggle with serve and volley, big respect to those who can consistently play that way imo.

I just had an amazingly tough match with brgerflipr in the sim tournament. It's the toughest 3 set match ive had, the only tougher ones have all been 5 setters. I won 7-6 6-7 7-6. There were no breaks and only 2 bp's going to me early in the 1st set and late in the 3rd, but we both got into each others service games a lot. He can descibe his character better but he had 90 power and high speed, i was fed and he kept crunching balls into my bkhand, and i was returning amazingly well but even with double risk returns he would just play a safe shot to return it and then gradually take over the rally. There were some brutal ones and i only had a couple of chances to get to the net and shorten the points a little. In the end it came down to a couple of points. stats were

Me Brg

1st serve %: 78 75
Win on 1st serve: 79 71
win on 2nd: 60 80
Aces: 7 1
Df's: 1 1
Winners: 77 57
Unforced errors:8 13
Break Point's: 0/2 0/0
Total points: 118 115

I had part of my sim match with norberto, it was 6-7, 7-6. When he had to leave. It was a pretty fun match. We both relied on serve, his outwide still drives people crazy. I can say though his double trigger are not as opposing as they used to be with the setup

Stats Norberto/ Me

1st serve % 88 / 90
win on 1st 78/ 82
win on 2nd 89/ 75
Aces 9/ 11
winners 28/ 27
unforced errors 8/ 9
total points 73/ 74
