I can't believe some of you guys. You honestly don't believe that someone can feel strongly enough about his religious beliefs to avoid what he considers to be a sin? It's called 'self-control'.

And although Q voices his objection when he sees something he feels is obsene, I don't see him pushing his beliefs on others. It's very rude and immature to mock him for holding himself to a higher standard. I doubt its easy to live the life he's chosen.

I fail miserably every time :lol:

I said to myself that i would revise a lot, and focus fully on the exams this year...

It turned out i only did half as much as i would have liked, and i enjoyed a few too many computer games!

Im annoyed cause i wanted to revise more, but my brain didnt allow it :lol:

Im alyways like, right ill quit when i win an online match at TS3...

But i never seem to get off to revise :lol:

I don't fun of Q's beliefs as most of them are the same as mine. And Q never forces his beliefs upon no one, he just tells u why he wont do that.

I SAY ONLY MY POINT THAT Q BY EVERY PIC WITH A GIRL he start this "" SIN+JEHOVA " POSTS

Rob wasn't siding with Q on the appropriate nature of these pictures. Just saying that ignoring him might be better for everyone rather than taking cheap shots at him.
America isn't really that prudish anyways, though you wouldn't know it from comparing what's on TV here to what airs in Europe.
Most of us like to git nekkid over here too.

No one is saying that Q forces his belief on us Rob, really. This was, and still is a fun thread, Q's "self control" would have been served better by simply avoiding this thread :wink:

Just Like Q has his beliefs I have mine and others have theirs. But any kinda fanaticism just doesn't work for me, religious or not. You should be able to recognize a joke, laugh and move on.

Exactly. I thought some of the comments were rather low.

As far as the "higher standard", maybe that wasn't the best choice of words. But it's what Q considers to be a higher standard and making fun of him for it is what I considered cheap.

It would be like making fun of someone for playing Top Spin the way we consider "fair". We follow a set of ethics at the expense of winning, kind of the way Q follows his beliefs at the expense of pleasure. So if Q is foolish for not wanting to see a naked woman, then we're all stupid for not using 100/100/100 characters and returning serves from the service line.

But I think we all believe we play at a 'higher standard' than the guys we hate to play on WT.

Completely disagree with your post above Rob. Respectfully, but Completely disagree....analogy is meh, I like this word now, LOL and the whole right of "having some fun" that was NOW officially destroyed by Q's totally harmless posts.

Djarvik, Well under the circumstances about Q and his posts, anyone would think these posts from u guys was another go at him. Joke or no joke, people dont like being talked about, unless they join in, in the joke, which i dont see Q doing, i see Q posting and you guys ripping him.

I think ANYTHING about Q's posting, private life, religious beliefs should be left out of discussion on a forum.
