To anyone who plays basketball games,

I downloaded the demo of this cos i thought it would be nice to play a different game. Now i dont know if this is due to me knowing nothing much about Bball, but... HOW THE HELL DO YOU TACKLE? im playing the demo and the boston celtics are literally just sprinting and passing through my team and slam dunking it, while i'm pushing 'steal' (square button, which i took to mean 'tackle') and 'press' which both does nothing.

If "tackling" is your thing, me thinks you're playing the wrong game.

Basically all you really want to try and do is slow them right down, and maybe intercept a pass, or put them under more pressure when they shoot. All you are effectively trying to do is make it as difficult for them to score when they have possession. You can steal the ball, but in the games it is really quite difficult to time 8)

In all seriousness, on defense, you have a few options : you can attempt to steal the ball without fouling (hitting the arms of) the other guy, you can plant your feet and try to draw a charging foul from the offensive player, you can put your hands up to make it hard for him to pass the ball, you can run backwards so you are in better position to steal or block a shot...am I missing anything guys??

I think your thinking I mean a 'tackle' as in American football like by taking someone down, I mean while the opposite team is bouncing the ball past you Is there a button you press to say swipe at it? Also my shooting guard is just pinned in and can't move my centre scores most of the point lol. Offensive I'm ok I just cannot defend againat any attack lol. I usually lose about 22-28
