Premium PSN?

Postby DRII » Thu, 06 May 2010 14:59

Would you all be willing to pay for access to the PlayStation Network if it was guaranteed not to lag and drop off so much?

This is the model Microsoft uses with Xbox Live. I don't know how good that network is but I am sure its better than PSN!

I would like it as long as its not too expensive.

I think 30-40 euro a year would be fair

In theory yes but I would be surprised if they did it now, after being free for so long.

i would say when its 100%lagfree (what is impossible) i would pay same money than xlive coast .maybe 1-2 euro more per month .
but nobody can give a garanty for that - so i would pay nothing

I am sick and tired of almost every match having lag, loads d/c, COD connection is crap too. If paying could minimize that, i would definatly pay

You only have to ask the Xbox guys.. they have lag too. MW2 connection seem to be fine for me, not lag free, but as good as you can get (without dedicated servers I think)

Disconnections are pretty bad... but I'd rather get disconnected in an ITST match, reschedule for the next day, and play with no problem, rather than played a lag plaqued match (that doesn't get disconnected)

You're willing to pay £120 per year to play some games? Especially since we have it free...

Well, if they can guarantee no lag / disconnect, then that expensive price of £10 per month 'maybe' justified. It may be the next era of gamers who may experience 'lag' free gaming.. How long until then, who knows.
