Ask yourself what you can use it for. If you cant think of any reason dont buy it. If you can think of 1 or more reasons wait to buy it until the second generation is out because:
Most of these points will probably be changed in the second version so all the first gen buyers go back to the store to buy another ipad. Say hello to Apple's sales strategy.
- * No multitasking. In fact, its Safari browser seemingly doesn’t support multiple websites being pulled up
* No flash. Flash is a major part of the web. Without it being included, you will likely be missing a lot.
* No removable battery. When it dies completely, so does the iPad.
* It’s too big to easily carry in one hand. 1.5 pounds can weigh you down after an hour or so of reading.
* Questionable endurance. How long can a device that only weighs 1.5 pounds take abuse? One of its selling points is that kids could use this for their textbooks in school. I don’t think I am going to allow Little Bobby Butterfingers near this $500 piece of technology.
* No HDMI port, no camera, no built in phone
* Screen does not use 16:9 aspect ratio (as many videos now are) resulting in a black box on each side when they are played.

Hmm I'll wait till my birthday (october) to get it the next one will have flash and a camera and eveything just like the iphoe 3gs lol I don't know if thier finished with the iPhone yet lol waiting is the key now

Lol, my phone is Sony Ericsson W800i and i have it for almost 5 years now!!
it stays fresh cos im changing wallpapers and ringtones (mp3) so i really dont think i need a new phone. That Iphone madness has left me untouched, the same goes for Mac madness.
Oh, and i am using Linux Ubuntu at home, its free and after you set it up, you dont have any trouble with it
and it looks nice too. i play DMT on Ubuntu using Wine.

i played with my friend's iphone 3gs and it looks great, but i heard there is another one coming out around june time, is this true??

I read today that APPLE cencored the ipod STORE in a crazy ridicolous way -
they cencore books for bad words , like moby dick(a classic book ) coz captain ahab is hunting a sperm whale (no joke )
or all programms when to much naked skin is involved
but you can forward download right wing extremist music and violence !!!
