well, I'm from Pittsburgh, but I only like the Penguins.

The Packers are my NFL team, and the Red Sox are my baseball team. NBA, I'd have to go with the Celtics, I've liked them since I was little.

I've never been to Pittsburgh, but I've been a undercover fan of the Pirates since Tim Wakefield was a rookie. And it's been a rough 15 years.
Jay Bell was my favorite athlete from ANY sport for a while there...

Bonds/Bonilla/Van Slyke, Wakefield/Drabek/ :D was an awesome lineup, too bad the Braves exist.

oh geez - when he played for us, yes. but no longer. He is an attention grabber, a media whore, and should have just retired a long time ago to save himself some respect. oh well.

When Mark Messier and Wayne Gretzky won the cup for the first time in 1984, they drank 'B-52' (nasty drink made from almond and coffee liquers) out of the cup with a straw :)

When he was with the Detroit Red Wings, Bob Probert was the toughest guy on ice - rarely lost a fight. Come to find out later, he was strung-out on cocaine most of the time. Still, a great, great fighter. :)

LINK: A few of his fights.
