-Population in Spain : 46 million people
-Spanish (South America) population in the USA: 48,4 million people (2009) WTF!! :lol: :lol:

Might want to recheck your facts there... I'd say about 20-30% at most are from South America. But yeah, right near the southern border you're lucky if you hear English more than half the time walking down the street.

i haven't checked, where are the other 80% spanish speakers from then? not from Spain, that's sure

yeah i remember that topic, he couldn't speak english in a restaurant or something similar, no?

over 34 million people in the U.S.A speak spanish as their first or second language aged 5 years or older. this makes the U.S.A the second largest spanish speaking community in the world only after mexico and ahead of spain, colombia, and argentina.....and xavi mexico is not south america....south america is a continent; mexico is considered north and central america

hahaha i know South America is a continent, well actually is part of a continent (America), but anyway i didn't mean that, i meant Mexico is considered South America, now i see i´m completely wrong
