Take a PC. Just because of the reason it's way cheaper then a Mac. But you can get it with good specs. Plus if you ever decide to game on it . You're basicly screwed.

Take a Windows PC with Windows 7 . But for sure a 64 bit. With atleast 4 GB of ram. But I would suggest taking atleast around 8 bg of ram.

But if you buy one in the shops they will probably have added a good Processor with it. Macs are beautilfull but overrated. You can get a better PC for less money.

hey anil - if i bought a new pc w/ specs good enough to edit hd vids, a new hd monitor, plus software....... wouldn't it be almost as much as a mac, that comes fully loaded w/ everything i need?

or am i wrong? i hope i'm wrong, cuz if i am, i can save some money.

Beautiful, yes. Overrated, absolutely not. Overpriced, hell yes!

Overpriced. That's why overrated. Cause for less money you can have a PC as good. You basically just pay for the design. C'est tout.
