sorry but i really dont understand how germany is considered a candidate...not trying to disrespect anyone but now on top of all without ballack...

i mean nowadays i know only a few players..klose, lahm, schwensteiger...well, cacau...muller?...mario gomes..? but i dont know any of the rest..maybe you have some young promises which i dont know but are really good players...

maybe you could tell me what are the most interesting players so i can change my mind :D

like i did with otamendi for example

i've placed Germany in Qfinal based on history.. i mean they don't have fame for having a team full of stars but they have always been consistance in the WC..

is the team nobody talks about it .. i think they reach Qfinal.. but i don't see them as candidates for winning..

nevertheless in "futbol" everything can happen.. thats why we love it :D :D

Germany, even when doesn't have stars or great players, can always win World Cup.I think surely can reach Quarter Final...sometimes is more important the group and the will to win than the single name :!:

1934:Bronze
1938:first round
1954:win
1958:4rth
1966:Silver
1974:win
1978:second round
1982:Silver
1986:Silver
1990:win
1994:QF
1998:QF
2002:Silver
2006:Bronze

only twice Germany has been eliminated before QF...that's why i don't mind which players are part of the team :!:

can't argue with that.
Germany/West Germany has been incredibly successful in the major competitions.
Winners of three WC's as well as 3 European championships.
Also runners-up three times in the European Championships, four times in the World Cup and won 3rd place in the World Cup three times as well.
You can't get much more consistent than that! Never write them off.

i agree with all what my pre poster mention here.

i said it earlier . we have no big stars like messi or ronaldo - but we have a great team with a awesome teamghost -
also we are a tournament team with a high skilled coach and a individual great tactic !!

that counts more than one messi or one ronalda - esspecially in tournaments like the WC .
since more than 30 years we allways reach the QF !!!
also mostly without big stars
also 1 plus is we have .....7 player from bayern münchen in the team !!!
the team where win the double and stay in CL FINAL!!

you don´t know müller , gomez ,badstuber ,NEUER (keeper) cacou ,marin, özil ??
that are young players with a extraordinar individuell good skill -but also teamplayers
latest after worldcup you will know them .

its true our leader was michael ballack - his injuring is bad -esspecially for the young players in our team - but now schweinsteiger comes in his shoes - you know schweinsteiger ?
he is one of the best 6 er in europe and very experienced in his young age .
with this team we can reach minimum the QF -
and forward we all now in 1 match like QF SF or F all is possible in football .

Germany and Italy probably don´t play the most eye-cacthing football but if we talk about getting good results, that´s another story, they always manage to get the win, no matter what......., in short they´re great teams

thats true - but not allways
remember the WORLDCUPS 70 -74 - 82 -86- 90- there we had great big teams
only a few names :FRANZ BECKENBAUER -GERD MÜLLER- PAUL BREITNER -SEPP MEIER-JÜRGEN GRABOVSKI - GÜNTHER NETZER - WOLFGANG OVERRATH -ANDREAS BREHME- LOTHAR MATTHÄUS-RUDI VÖLLER -KARL HEINZ RUMMENIGGE - JÜRGEN KLINSMANN- PIERE LITTBARSKI -ANDREAS MÖLLER-BERND SCHUSTER -
only to name a few WORLDSTARS that time!!!

watch out 2010 - you will see eye catching(LOL) football from germany . we have a very good offense this year -
and a good defense too and at all again a team who believes in hisself !!
