I can't believe some of the prices in Europe!!! They are outrageous. I just got my first smart phone a Motorola Droid and absolutely love it, using it right now to type this comment. Only cost me 99 dollars with a two year contract.

I also own a Mac. I was originally attracted to Apple because it was something different and I felt less proprietary than Microsoft and PCs. Now Apple is behaving very 'corporate' in my opinion! Although my Mac is approaching 5 years old yet still works very well...

Am liking Android in a big way - love the way it's been (easily) ported directly onto laptops as a (near-untouched) O.S. too - and some of the HTC devices running look really great (with the others running Windows Mobile...?????????).

For me, I was a pretty happy Blackberry chappie - had a curve a few years ago, and when the Bold came out, despite iPhone being available at the same time, I went for the Bold - based almost purely on the keyboard - and I've had no complaints in that respect. The ONLY big difference, is the browsing experience - while the Bold may be better than earlier models in this respect, in comparison to the iPhone, it's just almost childishly rubbish.

Yeah, iPhone and all things Apple are pricey - overly so in many cases, and I'm not defending that - just reporting that the experience having moved to iPhone from BB is very very positive.

Perhaps time for a poll!!!!!!!!

Someone feel like starting one? Something like 'iPhone/Blackberry/Android/Other/Basic Mobile phone'
