Taylor Dent Retires

Postby Cro Morgan » Tue, 09 Nov 2010 07:01

Another S&Ver bites the dust...

Taylor Dent, who has battled back problems for the past five years, has retired from tennis. The 29-year-old American won four titles in his career, the last coming in 2003, and reached a career-high of No. 21 in the world rankings.

"I had the privilege to compete at the highest level for 12 years, see places in the world I would have never been able to see without tennis, and meet people along the way that have become lifelong friends," said Dent in a statement. "I am looking forward to spending more time with my family, especially with my wife Jenny and our son Declan. I want to continue to stay active in the tennis industry and I am excited to explore opportunities in the world of tennis that my full tournament schedule never allowed me to do."

Haha yeah wow...that is probably the ugliest serve of all time.

I didn't really mean that Dent's serve is ugly, just that he literally looks like The Hunchback of Notre Dame for a split second when he serves. Look at any pic of him serving, right after he's hit the ball
