Nadal-Djokovic

Postby Samael » Sun, 12 Sep 2010 08:39

I say Djokovic in three. A 70% Djokovic can beat an 100% Nadal on fast hard courts. If Djoko will be at 100%, Nadal will embarass himself.

Djokovic is lightweight stamina wise, he will not recover to defeat Nadal.

Wanna bet, Jay? Nole in 3 100%. Nadal has NO chance. Rafa has absolutely NO weapon against Nole on fast hard courts.

It's all up to Novak, he is inconsistent and is lightweight mentally. But if he can keep it all under control, not make too many errors and keep it up, he will win quite handily.

It's Novak's match to lose or win. And after finally beating Federer in the US Open, I don't think he could stand to lose to Nadal.

This is a good thing, force him to be aggressive and go for his shots, the adrenaline should cover those long rallies

hahaha WOW, Rafa beat Nole on a faster court than this one in Beijing (Olympic games), i´m not saying Rafa is gonna crush Nole, but saying Rafa has no chance is a bad joke.
After 6 or 7 years on the tour i'm seeing some people don't know Nadal yet, 5 years back nobody, NOBODY would have said this guy could win 2 Wimbledons and 1 Australian Open, and he did it, and of course nobody though he could reach the final in NY this year, and to make it clear i'm not saying he's better than Djokovic on hard courts, probably he's not, but saying like you are saying that Rafa has no chance against Nole

It's my opinion. Based on what I'VE SEEN at this US Open, Djokovic will win easily.

What did i see? I saw Nole taking on difficult opponents, beeing tested, prooving to be very consistent in almost all his matches. I saw a Nole capable of staying focused during an entire match, capable of finishing points very very fast, with both fh and bh. I saw a Nole determined to run for every point and not to give up. What did i see from Nadal? I saw improved serve, a fh flattened a bit, a little improved bh, especially with the depth of the shots from that side. Enough to beat Djokovic in the final? Nope. If Djokovic returned so well Fed's serves, why wouldn't he do the same with Nadal's "amazingly improved serves"? Nole won't be tired and will brush Nadal aside. MY OPINION.

Nadal has a chance against Novak, even on these courts.

Novak does not play the big points as well as Nadal, I think as far as the physical element and actually hitting the balls Novak should win, but Nadal is much more mentally composed and is more of a fighter. But I'd really be happy for Nole if he does win, everybody seems to be forgetting just how great of a player he is and I think after these few years after the Aussie Open 08 I think he'll cope with the pressure better.
