Fed buried a generation of Tennis players (The Sampras, Agassi,...), he wiped out his generation's comrades (Guga, Marat, Andy, Leyton,...), and the only one from the future generation to really "dominate" him is Rafa...
Rafa "only" had to deal with Roger... (but since Rodge's the GOAT, it balances the "only", no? ;) )

I think other measures of greatness should also be taken into account, such as consistency, for example, thomas johannson won the OZ open, and one masters series. Henman only ever reached a grand slam semi and won one masters series, but i think henman was a far superior player.

Being a "better" player doesn't mean being a "greater player", if it makes sense.

Greatness is measured by accomplishments. Consistently NOT wining titles is not an accomplishment

No but for consistency, henman was one of the best players for around 5-6 years, and id say comparatively 'greater' than a one slam wonder who has one hot streak and get a trophy.

Well Nadal won plenty of matches in the past by simply getting every ball back. If you win you win, outserving one of he biggest serves in Roddick is pretty impressive in itself

those are not "free points", for me tennis is more than just serving, i would start every point without serving, i'm not kidding, but i guess that our culture, i mean in Spain if we train for 2 hours, 1h45 is hitting from the baseline and 15 min to practice serves, if you go to the US for example i'm pretty sure that's different.

Tennis: a racket game played between two players or pairs of players who hit a ball to and fro over a net on a rectangular court of grass, asphalt, clay, etc

It doesn't make sense to me when you are not able to hit the ball over a net because your opponent hits aces over and over. I know i'm from another planet

For me tennis all comes down to serve and return with the serve probably technically the most difficult shot to master and maintain over the course of a match and of course is the only shot that is not directly affected by the opponent. Nadal has had to realise this and now he is getting the rewards.

for me when you're able to have 50 aces in a match something's wrong in tennis rules, and implies a distortion of tennis.

I think the same about Nadal hitting 90% of his shots to the Federer backhand
