I never made a prediction, I posted the fact that the draw had been released, with potential match-ups. One of the biggest "what ifs" so far has been who's side Novak will be on.

and I'm pretty sure you are the most hypocrital person here - "useless topics". Wow, you should know.

these are actually some pretty nice matchups for the rnd of 16...i can wait till next week RG is my favorite slam to watch because of all the rallies and long points...lets see if Djok will come to the net to end the points a little quicker so he can have some stamina left...doesnt he have pretty good hands at the net? at least i thought so

i think djokovic has improved the stamina part of his game, he has hired a new fitness coach and played 3 straight weeks and 4 tournaments in 5 weeks and even at the end of the 4 hour battle with nadal he looked o.k. His conditioning let him down which wont be a big deal in paris.
Also yes he has also improved his volleys alot very recently, even during miami he wasnt looking great at the net but during this clay court season he has volleyed really well.

I would love for him to beaf up his serves a bit more. I guess that is the weakest portion of his game. Then again, serve is not a huge importance on clay. Placement favors power! :)

Hah. Good one. Yet, he has to win some to say that it is a weakness for him.

fed just needs to do what he did in madrid---dont give nadal any angles hit the ground strokes more towards the middle of the court deep--if you hit your ground strokes out wide he has way too much margin and he will kill you(so just dont give him so much angle and he will miss more shots)

Serve is not his weakness. Net play more... If they manage to get him to the net with good drop shots...

I beg to differ. I think his net play is pretty decent, sometimes better than his serve.

Like I said, for clay, Nadal's serve is fine. Yet, I think he must improve in this field.
