He said exactly the turth, nothing more, nothing less. Novak forehand was just a random shot, one shot in darkness and he was lucky enough that iit was IN...then it was the net which helped Novak to escape from the pressure much easier.
the guy was just lucky....

To be fair the Federer slice serve did not go anywhere near the sideline and gave him a ball to take a chance on. Also he was obviously not scared to lose otherwise he would just have made a conservative ball.

Federer then double faults at break point, that's his fault nobody elses.

it's like you said he lost his nerve when he needed it most but i said earlier fed was trying to rationalize the lost in is head he needs to console himself with that at this moment im sure when asked about again in say tweeks time in shanhai he think different then he will have properly digested the loss at this moment he hasn't.

anyways davis cup could be good for him rather tham sit at home and dwell on it.

he has a big match situation to test his nerve once again he may own hewitt but hewitt would seen this match and this would steeled him more should they play so fed will have the opportunity to somehow regain his nerve in the cauldron that is davis cup.

and if the swiss wins he should consider playing more next year seen as he seems get knock of tourneys earlier than expected and while the free flowing tennis is still there even if fedrinka have too win the doubles too.i mean there isnt a team the cant beat i m anyone who beats the the Indian express and the bryan bros back to back in the Olympics so be respected if not feared

Im not saying its not his fault! the guy list 2 years losing 2 MPs , he obviously has mental problems BUT you can't deny the fact that Djokovic was veryyy lucky yesterday in 40-15, he didnt play that great to save those MPs, one everything or nothing return and then Federer hitting the edge of the net, he was actually controlling that ralley, it could go his way...all in all its his fault but Novak was lucky.

She is proper eyeballing her after every point now, the umpire should give her another warning at least if she keeps it up.

She has to push the fire way over the edge.

I'm sure she just said to her "if you see me on the street just look the other way" then keeps saying "don't look at me"

Putting a really sour taste on this match, feel sorry for Stosur
