Federer should have lost to Gulbis, at least he was able to take a set of Nadal

The match was not great, for sure. A few great points....but overall, lacked a bit of fight for me....a bit flat. Maybe I over expected.

I think some of the edge had gone because Roger won RG, it's no longer about whether Rafa will put another nail into Feds chances of winning it, it's not a talking point anymore.

Xavi, you didnt like watching the match?

honestly i expected a better match.... you know we´ve seen so many great matches between these 2 that when the match is not superb i feel disappointed, Fed didn´t serve as he did in the SF so Rafa just had to play to Fed´s backhand to get the title.
If today his opponent had been a "good" Soderling...Nadal would have lost in straights

Wow!!!Number 1 and number 2 in the same double team???So great!!!Did it happen already in the past?
EDIT : I checked and it seems that it's Nole who convinced Rafa to play this double together (he talked to him about that at London)
And the last time 1 and 2 were together in a double team,it was in.....1976!Connors/Arthur Ash!! 8)
