Well Tsonga does not tend to match up well with Federer but should be an entertaining match regardless.

Haven't seen much of Tomic but is he likely to cause Novak any problems? Credit to Fish as well quietly moving through to the quarters.

Delpotro should almost just go boom or bust on return I feel now, Nadal is just gonna love this match to become more and more physical as nobody is better than him when matches go that way.

Brilliant forehand to break for Nadal, that could well be that!

and this match is over. nice try delpo but too inconsistent on the big moments. nadal shows us why he is so tough to beat.

his match vs mardy should be a good one. tomic- nole on the other hand will be one ugly match for tomic

A great backhand pass and a massive forehand for 0-30 then two wasteful points and level again. Nadal just reacts so well to the big return at 30-30 to bring the point back to neutral.

Great match but shame we didn't get a fifth.

Nadal has edged ahead of Federer as favourite for me after that win, so incredibly tough to get the better of Nadal.

He just absolutely kills you with the forehand if you do not hit a great return, once you get moved off the court you are just a sitting duck.

Great signs for Juan Martin though heading onto the hard court swing he looks certain to be in the mix.

  can someone give me the points breakdown for a grandslam? i want to calculate what Tomic would be ranked as of right now---figured it out tomic as of right if he loses to djok on wednesday will receive 360 points and as of current he has 357 points that will give him 717 points, so looks like just inside the top 80 or so

this youzhny match might be a blessing in disgusie for fed look at the level youzhny is forcing fed to play at.

Reminded me of the quarter final at the Australian Open 2010 against Davydenko - hopefully they schedule the match against Tsonga so that I can watch it on Wednesday.
yea look at the winners and variety from both guys and roger used rafa's tweener lob too.

fed moves better than delpo and is hitting the bh well feds knws he can beat rafa on anything that does bounce high like clay.

fed is serving well and break point conversion is good and is clutch serving well .and playing his best when it matterd most. i knw rafa beat delpo but still this fed's house and fed playing well on grass is danger for everyone

plus and how is an injured rafa gonna make it to the final in one piece fish is a better grass courter than delpo so fish will work rafa then murray wear rafa down some more.

I thought Delpotro moved well today and he is much stronger and consistent off the ground than Fish and mentally I doubt fish would be as confident as Delpo of beating Nadal.

I think given how he continued we can forget the Nadal injury. Of course it's no done deal but that match was the biggest test that any of the big 4 have had and Nadal came through with flying colours.
