He cried :-) And to be honest I had some wet eyes myself. Damn such a great moment. Plus I think Soderling is a great guy too. Very classy.

But he is also close to Sampras' 7 Wimbledon titles. Why not go for that too? And I'm sure he wants that Olympic gold, and 2012 will be at Wimbledon, so....

I think he really he wants that olympic gold. I bet he keeps playing. But a child can change things. He might have to ask hewitt how he deals with it.

He should drop the damn child from the cradle and blame on something else. BTW, what are the premises for that the child will resemble him and not that ugly, deformed Porky Pig of Mirka? 50-50! I wouldn't take any risks, were i Fed.

I hope he doesn't ask Hewitt, that's hardly the way to go. I just think we are going to see a greatly reduced schedule next year.

The Olympics is a bit of a novelty in my opinion where tennis is concerned.

Same here, very special moment for Fed.

As for Soderling, I reckon a few people owe this guy an apology. From what I saw, in no way does he appear to be anti-social or strange in any way. Maybe the guy just does not get on well with Nadal. But otherwise he seemed friendly throughout this tourney and today we heard him be very gracious and also gave a classy speech.

I bet Tyson made other people cry when he lost. Most likely his wife.

Federer isn't the most handsome but I have seen Mirka when she was a pro player and she had a pretty amazing body .

I am very happy for Federer, tears or no tears. To see the way he played in the earlier rounds and pull out the win, I think it was great.

I could not watch the match, but I stayed tuned to the updates. Very good Federer. :D

There were some tears but he was fine during the speeches.
Soderling handled himself very well and did a good post-match speech.

That is what I was saying before. For others to know Soderling, he has to make it to the final.

So, he made it to the first grand slam final. If he does that more often, then you will never know!! :P

I do not think he made a huge impact on the media and the general public across the world as Susan Boyle did on "Britain's Got Talent"!! :D
