Talk about anything related to the ATP and WTA tours.

Thx Xavi!
But... 0 U.S. guys have seen my 1st or 2nd question?... I highly doubt it.
But as i said, it's ok, since it's really not a big deal, and that i don't give a damn now (again : no anger, maybe a bit of disappointment).
It was late for me, i was tired because lot of work (mostly in the night...), etc....
Anyway, let's keep talking about U.S. Open, and thx Xavi for the explanation. It's cool.

And thx Emate! :tu

Matheja sorry, even thou my English is not great, I would try and help you...but I am at US Open every day of the week! so sorry! :P

Good news for Xavi.
Nadal finally got his game plan right. His serve is a good 8-10mph more then last time I have seen him (last year). I attribute it to more flexibility in his left arm. You can just see the "snap" that was not there before...it looked way more forced before and he would grip the racket tighter. I think this time he is keeping it much looser and with added flexibility finally getting that "whip" of a serve he needs to succeed in NY.
A correct strategy (in my mind) is now in place. He is actually shortens the points a good 3-4 shots earlier then he would do on clay or grass. He is looking to be the first to attack. He made tons of errors yesterday, but every single one of them was a "good" error. It was an error while attacking, while taking his chances and trying to shorten the point.

If he will maintain his game the way he plays now, he has got a great chance! If he loses, at least he will be losing playing "the right" hard court game, that has proven to succeed on this surface.

Good luck to him!!!

Nalbandian shook off the error galore from 1st round and finally starting to find the ball better. He is flying under the radar at the moment, which is good for him. The less attention at this stage the better.

My boy Simon wins!!! This was a good match, some great points, clean play. Another sleeper. Simon is to play Rafa next. Me thinks if Rafa plays same as yesterday this one will be a straight set win for Rafa. But, something tells me, that he will see Simon on the other side and will resort to his clay court game. Simon is not a player that looks to hurt you early, he is a counter puncher and likes to rally a bit before picking his spots. If Rafa will get involved in a lot of exchanges with him, this one will be close and who knows, Simon may even pull out an upset.
Rafa must play same way he did against Istomin. Simon doesn't feel comfortable playing 3 sets of first-strike tennis, when he does - he makes tons of errors and loses.
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

Matt Cronin thinks Blake is faster than Djokovic, what an idiot, like blake is pretty quick but Djokovic is as fast as Murray/Nadal

Djokovic would have to play terrible to lose to Blake, Blake cant win this match, but Djokovic can win it

BTW what you guys think of Sharapova v. Wozniaki?
Woz has been winning very easily so far

I'm watching Clement vs Fish on a streaming website, so i'm not sure what channel the game is on, but it is american commentators, and they are immensely patronising of Fish

"Oh that was a gorgeous overhead"(he served and hit a squatting overhead as clement gave up...)

"What a forehand passing shot!"(After clement hit an approach shot right to the middle of the court :? "

It is actually really quite funny

Sharapova v wozniaki could be a good contest. It will be all about whether sharapova can land enough of the big strikes or if wozniaki will break her down. It has been a long time since sharapova beat a top 10 player but it has also been a while since wokniaki beat a top calibre opponent imo
