L Hewitt 7 ITST wrote:To be honest im getting sick of Federer Nadal finals there boring now. Im not really fussed who wins to be honest i do believe Nadal will win though. Roll on Wimbledon where we can see a Roddick-Hewitt Final CUMMONN!!!!!!!!!.

Hewitt will NEVER reach another Grand Slam Final. Sorry.

And Federer will win on Sunday. Straight sets, 6-2, 7-5, 6-4. Federer will win using the same tactic he used in Hamburg: he will step in and take Nadal's short, heavy topspin shots on the rise, exposing Nadal's inability to hit with consistent depth. Federer had his bad day today, it will make him even more alert on Sunday.

If the score I predicted is exactly right, I expect a 6-pack of Samuel Adams from everyone who voted Nadal.

We'll see...I'm sticking by my statement though, I really think Federer will beat Nadal. Either way it's going to be a great match and I will be glued to my TV.

Yeah the Hamburg match made it more interesting, but only from a betting standpoint IMO. Conditions in RG are different from Hamburg. Once again Nadals spin will wear Roger down. I think he'll manage to win one set though.

Do you have what we in Sweden call a skiftnyckel?

Typically you are either blessed with speed or stamina, not both. The last anomaly on the tennis tour was Borg who was both among the fastest and had the most stamina on the tour. Now we have Nadal who is not only the fastest and has the most stamina but also the strongest. A freakish combo that could well mean he'll surpass Borgs 6 RG titles I believe.

i also think nadal will win cause thats what we are used to by now . but fed is well on to nadals game i found in hamburg ....but this is a different situation and both do well in grandslams , maybe federer will win, i somehow have the feeling he will ,cause he has been playing well when it mattered in this tournament and i think this final will matter to him :D ....would be great can't wait when he comes back to switserland it will be a madhouse for sure overhere in the whole country
