Djokovic will win, unless fed pulls out a mammoth performance to beat him. Dark horses: Del potro, Fish, harrison and Lopez.

I think with a decent draw harrison could make like the QF, which would be big for him. Lopez depends on his serve, hes really tough to beat when serving well.

Is it just me who feels as though Novak still doesn't have the aura that Fed and Nadal had when they dominated?

Even I know it's stupid as he has been the best player by a mile and has only lost the once but I dunno whether he instills the sane fear yet. Even Tsonga was saying something similar after their match.

If Serena can sneak a seeding and not pick up any injuries from playing so much by her standards this US season she is by far the favourite. She looked awesome against Azarenka.

You're not alone, I think that's a pretty common feeling. Doesn't matter who he beats up on this year, a lot of us still think back to 2007-2009 Djokovic who gave up when he had to play 4 sets in NY. Despite his amazing success it will still take time to change his image completely.

Agreed, Federer and Nadal had much more invincible auras......

Wait who said something about womens tennis?

BTW, met some pusher at the local park yesterday. Said she was good at making Cheese Danishes, and then she said something about being #1 in the world at tennis. i told her thats Djokovic, but then she said it was the WTA, some made up thing that organized WOMEN tennis tournies, and they play 3 sets in GSs, BUT GET PAID THE SAME! Honestly!

Played her at the local courts, she was hungry, and I sucked at making Danishes, so I gave her 2 bagels, but apparently, she was too tired to finish the match, and shook my hand after two sets?!?!?!

    8)

Funny

Not particularly. harrison is 19, at home, has improved this year and like i said if playing his best and has a decent draw, he could take out a seed or two and make the QF. He has a pretty big game. Anyone picking a dark horse to WIN other than the top 4 is deluded, as the odds are next to nothing. But a dark horse who could shake some cages and knock out a couple of big names early and go deep, yeah theres some potential for that.
