Is Nadal's serve really much better?
I know he has added more speed, but i think he might have sacrificed some spin for that, which against a great returner like Djokovic, wont make much of the difference. That being said i dont know this is the case, just kinda guessing.
If Djokovic isnt too tired he shall win

From the ATP site...

Below is a statistical look at how Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have performed in their six matches en route to the US Open title match.

after beating FEDERER -djorkovic is on fire now.

i see as a advantage that nadal have one more day to rest ,and a much more easier and shorter SF .

but also with this handycap ,i´m sure djokovic will beat NADAL today -

by the way ,what cet time starts the man final?

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

The first Djokovic Nadal GS Final (with a few more potentially to come), it could be great

It won't be great. It will be quick. About 40 minutes and Nole will lift the trophy above his head. First set: 15 min. Second: 10 min. Third: 15 min.
Ban Djokovic forever!

Dragos, you must be watching a different US Open :?

Nadal in 3. No doubt.

Federer gifted 65+ points to Nole (UE) no way Nadal will gift him more then 30. So where will Nole come up with 35 more points? ...and even with so many gifts, he still needed 5 set to put away Fed.

Nadal the best defender, no free points for Nole, bye bye Djoker.

If Djokovic is gonna take down Nadal, it'll have to be in three sets. If it goes four, Djokovic will need some help. If it goes five, Nadal will win his first US Open title.

My guess: Djokovic in four (he'll get help).

Against Nadal Djokovic plays much better, he plays very agressively and I can see him easily hitting 50+ winners, forcing lots of errors and making comparatively less UE than he did v. Fed, he would need to play well, 75%+, to do that though

Wishfull Fan thinking man. Did you see Nadal play this US Open?

He is way more agressive then ever. Just as agressive as Fed.

I think you will be Very surprised...But then again, you have the excuse ready already: "djokovic played at 60%, but needed to be at 75%"

Djoker has to play better then he did against Fed in order to win. True story.
