I´ve just checked Federer won. I couldn´t watched the macth ( 3 am CET  )
How did the play?, My respect for Roger, Verdasco was playing better than him this season, but was able to beat him in 2 straight sets  .

Well federer has been practicing all this time on how to beat a lefty with top spin , so at this point it was unfair for Verdasco , it is as if he had been practicing all this time to beat him hahaha.

Anyways again I'm looking for a place to watch a re-broadcast with no luck :(

Federer doesn't play well ? ....

Let me clarify something right now , Federe plays really well , he is still making it to the finals every single time , he was the only player (except Verdasco of course) to get 2 sets on Nadal ,and correct me if I'm wrong but the only one to brake him in the australian .

Played 5 sets in the finals with him , made del toro look like a fool and dispatched a new , extra motivated Andy Roddick and so far has played well and you say he doesn't play well ???

Let me make something clear , if it wasn't for Nadal, Federer could very likely have over 18 grandslams by now .

Federer is the best out there , along with Nadal, and is not like Nadal dominates him , all theri matches (except French ) have been close.

i watched the match and i would have to say that u didnt miss a whole lot.

Federer played well the first set and verdasco had trouble. The second Federer made more backhand errors but still played well on big points, while verdasco upped his game a little, it still wasnt enough.

i did think it would go to 3 sets when verdasco broke at 5-5. But Fed broke back and controlled the tiebreak. Glad Fed won in 2 :D

I really dont understand that comment. :?

Fed has been playing well, i thought. He did reach the final of the AO and beat top quality opponents, and he still makes to almost evry semifinal. I think he is still playing well, but other players have stepped their game up as well.

I think he´s talking about "playing tennis", not getting good results, and the tennis that Federer has been developing the last 2/3 years of his carreer is not spectacular, is just effective, and I think that´s good, I think Nadal is trying to do the same, but he doesn´t have Federer´s serve, that´s a problem.
Verdasco has been a big surprise to all of us, and along Murray, he´s been playing a great tennis since January ( nice to watch, not talking about results)
Of course that´s my opinion, and please don´t think this is because i´m spaniard, and i´m always supporting Rafa ( I am   ), it´s just what i see.
After Rafa, and Verdasco, Fed is the third one of my favourites.
