I think Nadal just needs to not get hurt and he has the title in the bag.

Well sort of off topic, but how do yo feel avout lleyton hewitt's draw, playing ivo karlovic.

It seems to me he has had some unlucky draws, like gonzales in australia

I think is not such a strong opponent Karlovic in clay... think he has a lot of chances pretty good first round

Notice that the court at Roland Garros is gonna be slower than in Madrid, and there´s another thing that it seems to affect Nadal( that´s what he says), the altitude, the Madrid Open was played at an alttitude of 600 metres, and that makes the ball quicker than in France.
In France the clay is slower and the tournament is played at sea level, summarizing it´s the perfect tournamnet for Nadal conditions.
I´m really exited this year, we´re gonna have fun.

Yeah that's right.
I remember Nadal saying that he never did feel 100% comfortable in Madrid and that he sometimes wasn't sure whether his shots were going to go long/wide or not.

I think either Federer, Djokovic or Nadal. As Djokovic meets Federer it will be very difficult and probably a tough match. If Djokovic had meet Nadal there would have been a chance for Federer to win in the final. Now everything's possible :)

You are right the conditions in madrid favored federer. Altitude was higher and casued the ball to move like a hard court. But maybe the loss and the tough win over djokovic might creep into his mind late in the tourney

Well that eneded up being a heck of a match as karlovic's serve was on fire. I think he ended up with around 55 aces. Thats amazing.

Does anybody know the record number of aces in a match?

Karlovic( 1st round Wimbledon 1995): 51 aces
Johansson( Australian Open): 51 aces
They both lost those matches

It is telling you something . . . the more you serve, the more you toast your arms. LOL. Just kidding. Yet, something, whether it is the opponent, their mental faculty, etc., is causing these ace phenoms to lose.
