I voted for my backhand cross. My two-handed backhand is my most solid stroke. I can hit cross-court very well from far back in the court, and have a very solid precise backhand down the line, which comes in very handy for passing shots on that side. Unfortunately I can't really try and hit this shot really agressively because I don't get enough spin on it.

For about two years I had a completely nonexistent forehand. In some matches I had to resort to hitting every forehand as a slice  and lost all confidence with it. Now that I've been taking lessons though I'm finally starting to feel confident with it again, and I'm beginning to develop an inside out / inside in forehand as a weapon. I think by the end of the summer that will be my best shot.

I have to say though my strength as a tennis player is being mentally strong, but that wasn't an option. In about 90% of my matches I have a better score in the second set than I did in the first. So it takes me some time, but I can usually figure out how to play against each player. I need to work on tiebreaks though, because my tiebreak record is not very good. Learning how to play aggressively without overdoing it will hopefully help this.

BTW, if I ever make a trip to Europe, which I hope to do someday, I want to play every ITST player in the area. That will be awesome.

My bh cross is my best shot too, sherlock... I find the bh down the line very, very hard to pull, because i don't have enough strength... :(

my best weapon is my gun....when I see someone will actually return my forhand, then I shoot them in the kneecaps, and win the point:)

The backhand down the line has to be one of the sweetest shots to hit in tennis, especially as a passing shot which lands right on the line.

I love hitting any passing shot, it could almost be my "weapon" except it means I play bad enough to let my opponent get to the net a lot. Even when I was hitting bad forehands, for some reason I was still able to hit really good forehand passing shots really close to the lines. It's amazing when someone approaches the net it's as if I see a very exact target and am then able to hit it.

I'll have to check, but that may be against the rules of the game...

It may be against the law, but shooting someone in the kneecaps is not something that is forbidden by the rules of tennis, i think... LOL
