Either some serious pusher tennis or time violation.

haha niether one of us was going to budge, some long ass rallies. it seemed like everytime we got into a rally it was a long one and yea there was probably some time violations between changeovers once we started to wear down

if you want to get fit for tennis
200 m sprints and 400 m sprints are best, give yourself no more than one minute rest after each set.
I ran a marathon in April and the training really slowed my footwork on court. I play longer but i am not as explosive .

Short sprints , rope skipping, anything that works those fast twitch muscles.

Long distance running will improve your stamina but not your speed
