ITST Mod 1.18 - What do you need to get started!

Some desync but average Ping is 275 and turtle ever! And my opponent will have little very fast movement , very strange!

Strange indeed, well do some test with me if you want you will find me in the lobby.

If the connexion was so bad some desyncs may be caused by lost packets i guess.

The game was perfect with last update + little changes of the characters sats (no desync and nice gameplay).

Hope the desync won't come back, it makes the game frustrating...

Not confirmed. We played 3 sets with Eliomelma without a single desyncs. I guess the problem was probably a bad connexion issue.

just played online against Perfect ace and Elias. Against Perfect Ace we had some desync and connection problems and with new build i think that the game was like the vanilla online TE. i win against Perfect 7-5 7-6 , no break no rallies with more of 2-3 shots! what's happens to TE! no break and only serve and winner! roulette game! After this i played against Elias and no desync, never, good news C4hill!! We tried to reduce power and spin of Federer and Djokovic (before we played 3 sets djoko vs djoko and not funny, too much power in wings! we reduced power/spin ratio and.......................VOILA' TE IS BACK!!! on clay he can't serve ace against me, long rallies and very funny game! On grass more winners, more short rallies as in real tennis and this is the key, reduce stats of player

Hey guys,
First of all, this is a great mod and I rellay enjoy playing the game with that mod. But I have a problem. Hopefully someone can help me:
I followed all the instructions, installed the game, the mod etc...
But somehow I still have a problem with the players in the game. They just don't lool like they do in real life. The outfits aren't the same and strokes are different.
I used to play with sam's atp megapatch and there I had all the right player outfits/strokes. But know I need to change that all on my own with the itst mod...
So my question is do I need to install the sam's patch as well to play with the real player outfits/strokes? Cause I unistalled sam's atp megapatch when I installed the itst mod.

Well no you don't need sam patch.

The best would be to install a fresh new TE, then apply ITST mod.

Do you have the full registered game though ? Because if you only play with the demo i think the game is then limited about modding and this could be the reason (i have a friend wich has only the demo and he can't see the custom animations, only standard TE ones).

I downloaded the TE version you posted in this thread. But I don't know if it is the newest version...
And yes I bought the game and also copyed the key.txt I got in my mail in the TE folder. Then I also copyed the ITST mod in the TE folder...
Maybe you have an other advice on what to do to get the real player outfits/strokes. Cause now the player look really weird when you save them from the world tour mode.

Yes this is a permanent link to the last version of the game, should be ok.
There is something wrong then.

Did you followed all the steps after installing ?

that is :

Launch the game, go to Misc Options, turn "on"Advanced Options. This should add a smiley face icon to the right menu in the game. Click on it and select: Create New Profile. Type in the name: ITST (all uppercase). On a previous screen turn "on" Select on start up. Quit the game, you are done.

Next re-launch, the ITST profile should be active, and you should be able to load the chars in the character sheet.

after creating an ITST profile, then quitting the game, and reloading it, then going in the character sheet you will still see a standard character, but then cliking the upper left button "Load character" you should then have the whole char roster available to load.

Just a stupid question, but, you don't copy the ITSTmod_1.06.rar in the root folder of your game right ? you have to extract it and copy all the archive content (all folders) in your TE root, sorry for asking but this may be the reason as well

Haha, yeah of course I extracted all the folders of the ITST.rar and copyed them in the TE folder.
But I just reinstalled the game and again followed all these instructions on how to install the mod on TE and now it works! There are all the top players with their real outfits/strokes. Pretty cool!
But what is still pretty weird is the fact that when I enter the world tour mod to save players to the training club, all the players look different !!
For example, now I have Roger Federer with the correct white Australian Open 2011 outfit and realistic strokes.
But when I go to world tour mod and click on Roger Federer he looks completly different. He has a grey outfit and a racket from Yonex. Why? That just doesen't make any sense Do you have the same problem?

Well it's because ITST mod for now is just designed for online play (and offline training warm-up or match) to play ITST tour. I didn't customized the offline world tour career mode at all, it wasn't our priority and we were somewhat in a hurry because of a desync issue playing online. I may prolly do this in a later version.

You may wait for the next sam 2012 patch wich should be released by the end of june, and have a second TE installation then to play a career with it

Oh ok, yes I will test the sam 2012 patch whent it comes out.
But actually I uninstalled the 2011 sam patch to put your mod on the game because of the different courts. Really love that there are so many different and updated courts. You know, the sam 2011 patch hasn't as many courts as your mod, that's why I changed.
But will I be able to put the sam2012 patch as well as your mod on TE at the same time? Then it would be perfect. Because then I would have all the players outfits/strokes from all top 100 player from the sam 2012 patch but all the different courts from your mod!
