The draw for Kremlin Cup was released on 15th of October. The tournament is only 250, but here are 7 players from TOP 10 and here are also some great newcomers like El Croato and spencercarlos, so the tournament will be very exciting for sure!

G.Dimitrov(BUL) def. Filipe10 (Nadal)

First I want to tell you that he have great forehand, so it was like Federer(Dimitrov)-Nadal match, but didn't Nadal hit on Dimitrov's backhand - Dimitrov was hitting on Nadal's backhand. He is a newcomer so I think that he haven't found his rhytm so far, so with training and this forehand he can be in top 15 in future!

For the match:

The two sets were equal - I broke him in the start, then he won one game and then I won the two sets. I was playing with ease on his serve and my serve, but in the rallies when I give him a ball on his forehand, I just have been killed! On my serve there wasn't a lot of rallies. I was playing 60 % S&V, or doing an ace or just finishing the ball after his return with ease. Here are the stats, so you can see that he won on my serve 3 points.

He is great player for a newcomer, so I really want to see how he is beating you guys in future. 8) I'm full with anger after my 4 losses in a row. So I'm ready to kick every ass on this tournament with my player - GRIGOR DIMITROV! :c

Just lost with Vlad 6-3 6-3. I was Berdych, he was Roger... He has amazing aim but honestly I do not like his playing style at all... I am new on tour but I recently played with Fox and I lost 6-2 6-0 but it was real tenis and I enjoyed so much. We both used different types of shots, running around courts realistically... With vlad its just about b1+b2 button all the time. But I dont want to complain, he was far better than me and he deserved his win.

I don't like to see many Federers around me, but the first one I managed well: VMoe86 (Harrison) defeats p.naplam (Federer) 6-1, 6-3.

First set I was in total control, barely lost a point on serve, returned well and thus got to a quick 5-0 lead. He then held for the first time and got a better feel of playing against me, but I managed to serve it out nicely.

Second set couldn't start better for me: I hit three or four perfect returns, all deep on the baseline. Thus I got the early break and consolidated it for a 2-0 lead. But as I said, he started to play better and I knew I had to be careful. He was holding his serve more easily now and started to return better. In the rallies he was good anyways, but in my opinion standing too far behind the baseline. The reason why I could dominate most rallies with Harrison was that I played closer to the baseline.

At 4-3 I had to stop for a minute or two (I told him before and he was ok with it). I was serving and I make an error for 0-15, double fault for 0-30. First difficult situation on serve, but I got out of it and had another almost perfect return game to conclude the match.

Good match p.napalm, you should play closer to the baseline, also on return. That's what I'd advice you to work on as the next step.

Thanks for good match. In the first set I had nothing to tell. When I woke up, the score was 5:0, I thought "holy crap, i'm in trouble".
I wasted the beginning of the second set, I lost my serve. That's a pity, because I had started to feel my strokes and positioning. Maybe you are right, I stood too far behind baseline, I should pay attention on it in the future.
And that's was my last game using Federer. I will choose another player for next matches. :)

Just lost against ElCroato in R16 4-6 4-6 . I think that i don't deserved this loss. I am not in good form, my opponent is very good player :D but if i should describe my loss i write only a few stats: In first set after 2-0 for me we went to 2-2 and rehost due lag. I lost the set with 2 consecutive nets (yes 2 consecutive) on 15-15 and he broke me. Second set? In the only one break point that he had, ANOTHER NET and he broke me again. So i think that we both played well, i could win too this match, my opponent is only luckier tonight than me. But congrats to El Croato, nice to see new good player as him on the tour :)

Thanks eliomelma! :-)

I think we both played at a very good level and I agree the match could have swung either way. There's no denying I turned out to be a lucky dog in that match, but I have to acknowledge that luck has seemed to favour me since I registered on the tour as I cumulatively made plenty of net points, whether it be against the #1 kyuuji, p.napalm or G. Dimitrov. As the proverb goes: fortune favours the bold ahaha. All kidding aside, I would also like to congrat eliomelma on his performance and his sportmanship (despite the many racket throws ^^, which, by the way, are totally understandable given the lucky points I played).

Hopefully I can achieve some decent results in this Kremlin Cup, with a modicum of luck of course :-)

See you guys and keep up the good level! ;-)

R32 : C4ILL vs L Sanchez = 6-3 6-3.

Sanchez is an old friend from ts4 tour so it's always nice playing against him (also because he plays offensive tennis like me !).

Anyway today he made a lot of faults, it seems he was not very trained so I was a bit relax troughout all the match, trying to play creative tennis and beautiful exchanges. I think it was fun to play for both of us, despite the faults ;)

There were several breaks from both of us but his faults killed him.

Yep it was a fun match. Good to see players not all using tier 1 players.
C4ILL did a great job with Llodra, somehow putting me off my rhythm on the serve and in baseline rallies. Wawrinka should have been able to overpower Llodra, but it wasn't the case at all.
Some nice rallies, with good netplay from him, and I won a few points with dropshots. Both of us went for the lines at times, too. Otherwise I was a bit rusty, and C4ILL was the better player.
Good luck in the next rounds!

Fed hunting is so much fun: VMoe86 (Harrison) defeats vlad449 (Federer) 6-3, 6-2.

I won't give a summary about the match except the following: He was constantly fist pumping when I made errors. Ok, I made only 19 errors, but he did not fist pump only there -- most points he won, fist pump. When he made an error, smashed the racket.

I am sure Robbin will place this on players record, making it a second record for Vlad I believe. One more violation and we will take measures.

This will from now on be handled privately, I just wanted to make sure whoever is reading is aware of the process.
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

I second that, I faced exactly the same behaviour and attitude.
That is the reason it's maybe the only match I didn't write a report about it (China Open R16).I felt my opponent wasn't worth even a minute more of my time.If needed I've got the .dmo file .

G.Dimitrov (BUL) def. Indiantonike (Tsonga) 6/2 6/0

First I have to say that Indiantonike wasn't in top form and I think that I'm. :) He made a lot of unforced errors and he was lack of luck.
First set: I broke him in the open game. Then at 5/2 I broke him again and won the set after a lot of errors by him and winners and aces by me.
Second set: He continued to play bad, but he was 1 level better, but and I started to play better. We played some great rallies, but his errors and my serve were just killing him!

In our first match he was in bad form and I beat him, in the second match I was in bad form and he beat me. In this match he wasn't in top form and I beat him. I hope that in our next match we both will be in a top form and we will can play one great match. :) Good luck Indian. :)

EDIT: Fox I'm waiting for you.
