Some Noob Questions if you may answer.

Postby Uchiha Muss » Sat, 16 Feb 2013 13:08

Ok so I joined the tour, I signed up for Australia 1 40+. The date is 19 Feb'13 .. 07 Mar'13.
But one match has been already played and finished :? I mean it's 3 days away, are you actually allowed to play and finish now, before even it started?

Also one more question: What if I sign up for 2 40+ future events. Will I get banned or will I just give up one of the tournaments. Or how about I lose the 1st round and immediately sign up for a different Future tournament?

for Australia 1 40+ , i think they made it start early because the tournament sign ups are full , otherwise every tournament start at the decided date .

for your second Q , u can sign up for 2 future tournaments if they are with different dates , so if they are starting on the same time then you have to choose one only , anyways its automatic when u sign for one you cant sign for the another .

and same for your third question as long as u signed up for one of them , you cant sign for the other one giving that they are starting in the same date .

In addition to that, it is no problem to play a match before it is scheduled. If the matchup is already clear then you can play.

Very Nice. I got the answers I needed. It's good that the sign up system is automatic and doesn't allow you to join other tournaments at the same time. I was scared to click any other tournament, just in case if I accidentally signed up or something.
Anyway this tour is amazing. I already got 7 point for my ELO ranking. Don't know what that is but I presume higher is better

Elo is not the tour thing :) Elo points are just in TE and it doesn't matter if you play ITST mod or regular TE online :) Tour ranking and race ranking is here http://www.intertopspintour.net/index.p ... &gc=PCTE11 it works same as ATP ranking does

Oh yeah, I'm slowly figuring out things. ELO is indeed TE 13 internal online ranking system.
I know about that ITST ranking system, it works the same way as the real one, the race to World Tour Finals.

Does anyone know if it's okay to open 3 profiles so I can play more tournaments?

Only 3 profiles?! LOL.. Everybody on the tour have minimum 5 profiles. I have 10! :c

Just joking. No, you can't use more than one profile!

http://www.intertopspintour.net/index.p ... &gc=PCTE11 -----------> 12.) You are NOT allowed to have more than one account with ITST. If you attempt to play the tour with more than one account, you will be banned from the site.

Oh well, It's fine now. I don't need 3 profiles. I figured out that I could play with other players without PM-ing them.
This is my last question:

I know everything else but I'm not absolutely sure about this. So I entered the tournament that starts in 19th of February. Can I enter the tournament that starts at 26th even though the current one ends in March?
So in short, Every tournament I enter must have 7 day difference between their starting date. Just like in real life. But because not everyone is available everyday = 1 day in real ATP event equals 3-4 days in this community's ATP event Is that Right? In theory is 52 tournaments maximum? or are there workarounds that allow you to enter more tournaments in the same week ( I mean the ITST week not this week or next week in real life)

As long as two tournaments do not have the same start date, you can play them at the same time. If you are going deep in those tournaments you will have to schedule a lot of matches at the same time, so beware of overplaying. :p

I think it's now time for me to confess and admit I always had two accounts ; "Indiantonike" is indeed my profile when I want to loose a bit because you know, it's boring to always win.

Sorry to everybody, I hope you will understand my though situation. I know this was a mistake and that I dishonored my family by doing such a thing, but I am Human After All. At least , I gave you some free win, I gave hapiness to the world

Okay, all right. I think I understand everything at this point. I've entered the tournament that start at 26th of Feb and the system didn't reject me. I think i'm in safe zone for now.

At this point all I need to do is just reset my router and open up my ports. Otherwise I can't host. I've played 4 games and every time I had to join somebody's party.
