Need practice....

Postby LeapedCastle04 » Wed, 07 Nov 2012 16:06

I bought the game today. It's fun and realistic, but with only 1 hour playtime i obviously suck at the game. Can't even beat the computer yet at the highest difficulty level.
I struggle with my return and slice shots that land midcourt. I'm tired of getting trashed by a Sharapova look-a-like offline.
Until i get better i'm not even gonna try playing online, but hats off to the creators of the game. It's a lot of fun....

And you never will ;)

I just want to suggest you to play online, against people, in friendlies. This is by far the fastest way to improve. The game "handles" differently online and the Human opponent is much more unpredictable.

Glad you like the game!

Highest difficulty is impossible. Not even sure if the best players in the world can beat it. Can they?

But yeah, practising online is the best way to improve really.

Playing the demo, I'm still trying to get past the guy with one arm and a bad limp. 8)

Master 10 is beatable, even with Tier 2 against Tier 1. I've only tried playing against Federer on Incredible 1 and there the only chance I see is to hold serve and reach a tie break, but considering how well the CPU returns on that level, seems impossible so far, but I don't surrender easily. :p

Yeah I tried it as well one day and I was able to compete with Incredible (Llodra vs Fed) ^^
