Yes. The tour will be without the "previews" of the ball.

Want a better challenge? Play against a Top 4 with a second tier player, or even third.

I find it that when I use Fed, I can compete with Master level, losing only once my serve, but if I take player like Kohlschreiber, I can barely hold my own against a Pro 3.

Try to play online against some ITST guys too, they have more random patterns then AI typically has, a better challenge.

I'm Nalbandian, played against Djokovic.

Try picking 3rd tier players and also try to play against ITST guys. There are plenty available during the day!

I sound like a broken record, but he should play with Elite controls! Just played one set with Llodra against Djokovic on Pro 5, Sim/slow/no previews -- won 6-3 with 3/7 on net points won and a total of 20 winners to 7 errors. One can be very lazy with the footwork on Sim controls compared to Elite controls. I struggle keeping rallies alive as Llodra against Pro 3 Djokovic on Elite/slow/no previews. I know I shouldn't be even trying to rallye, but except for finishing points off at the net my net game is still too bad.

djarvik recommended playing with dpad controls but playing with analog has been fine for me does anyone else play with analog or does everyone use dpad

I've also tested with analog pad, assigned R1 button and L1 button for special shots so that I could move and hit the way I want. Moving was better this way. Will give this another try once I've finished testing all the players. Currently I'm playing again using my keyboard, works also very well and now better than with a pad.

Hello,

I am interested in TE 2011 but it would be mainly for the ITST, as unless it's not a sports management or sim racing game I buy games for consoles etc. so my 2 questions:

I have just the demo, what would you recommend to train against the CPU to have a more "real trainings match" that could be like playing against a player?

There aren't really players in the Demo and I have just 2 players with everything on 80% and the CPU player on the highest (Unbelievable) and after it was just frustrating with 0-6 a lot, down on the 2nd highest difficulty (Master) and even there it's hard to steal a point and on Pro I can't really win against them as the CPU Aces on masse and if I get the return, they everytime play diagonal until I don't get the ball and repeat
Volleys are just very hard for me here

I have the XBOX 360 Controller for PC (easier then everything else) and the settings:
Auto positioning: Slow
Preview: Out and on Elite

In the case of a disconnect, what happens?

Personally i am not too bad at tennis games and i just had to begin at club level and work my way up to Pro. To me that seems to be the best way to learn the game. I would suggest playing a career game as you encounter a lot of different styles there as opposed to the training club.

I havent played a lot of online games so i cant really say if that is the best way to train for the upcoming tournaments.

As for your disconnection question. That wouldnt be much different as a disconnection on any tennis game on ITST. Restart the match and ace your way to the same set score you and your opponent where on when the connection crashed.

Hello guys :) I'm SamModder from managames (previously sam250) and if you remember me I am the guy who made faces for Top spin 3/4

Thank you for all the praise for my patch I really put a lot of effort into it to make it perfect :) If you have any questions concerning my patch feel free to ask (It would be better if you ask in my thread in managames though like that I don't have to come here everytime)

And btw 2012 Patch is coming out with all the players updated and many new players added (Volandri, Jaziri, Darcis, Gil, L.Mayer are the first ones that come to my mind), players now have for some even more similar strokes than in real life thanks to all the anim modders out there in managames so stay tuned guys!!

Of TE?

Damn, I just did a fresh reinstall last night!
(P.s., I had to do a fresh reinstall to get ITST patch v1.02 to work, after that it was good)
