The game itself is cool, but I miss reach swings, I would like to see my guy stretch his arm when balls goes in the deep corner.. isn't there a way to fix this? When you play a perfectly placed ball now there is no way you can get to it your guy just goes for a normal swing and misses the ball by a meter or so, pretty annoying. I think it would be a great add to the game.

Well thank God for this game. Was giving up on TS4, and TS3 was dead. Playing as Ferrer should be much fun.

I figuired you tought that, but can't true pro players get to many balls when they are in position? I see Nadal, Federer and Djokovic get to many balls close to the line. It would be nice if you could outplay your opponent some more instead of hitting winners out of nowhere. A reach swings add would be perfect. Just a little more reach. I see how much the game can be edited this should be possible it would add more realism to the game in my opinion.

I'm not talking about the true perfect shots in the far corner, ofcourse that should be winners, but just a little more reach on some other balls. Sometimes I'm surprised by not that hard looking balls I can't get to.

Gotcha again.

The only thing it missing is the actual animation for reach shots, not the reach shots themselves. They are there, just have to be in position to hit them. Get a bit better in the game and you will sing a different song, I promise. If you can't beat the AI on Pro 1, you are still new to the game and have much to discover ;)

Nah, beated pro after 2 hours of training I can play :) but it's just something i noticed that's all :)

Like I said, really like the game but this is just 1 thing I miss. Could be that Reach swings are there altough you can't see them but I would just like to see a little more reach in general :)

The same applies in Tennis Elbow. Sure there isn't the animation of the stretch, but anything within strike range, even if it is slightly far away from you will be hit. But if you are far from the ball, it generally means the shot will be a mishit or a short ball, much like you would expect if Nadal or Djokovic are pushed to the full stretch.

Of course, your players height and many of his %'s also are a factor. As is timing. You're probably just misjudging the trajectory of the ball, which means your footwork and timing are worsened.

This game gives such importance to footwork, that other games just do not. There are no longer "set shots" or "set patterns", every point is vastly different, and every player has vastly different playing styles.

I want to hold you to it 8) You are saying you are beating AI on Pro 1 after two hours with no previews, slow auto-positioning and SIM controls?

Video or it didn't happen! Took me something like 10 hours to get to Pro 2, and when I do beat him it is mostly tie breaks or 7-5 6-4. If this is your level after 2 hours - I am truly impressed, congrats man.

Hehe perhaps 2 hours was a little excessive make it 3 and no at the time I did it with Previews because I wanted to learn how the target aim goes so I understand it better and get more control. But I tried to face pro without previews this time, with autopositioning on average though and won quite easy with 6-2. He was lucky that he aces me so much or it could be a 6-0 lol. ;) So let's say it took me 3.15 to beat pro without previews but with average auto positioning.

Btw wat do you mean by sim controls? I just use standard controls.
And what auto positioning will the tour be played on? I gues with no previews?

Are you on arcade controls or sim? Big difference for aiming accuracy, and implications on footwork afaik.

Tour will be played on simulation controls with slow autopositioning.
