USA Davis Cup Team

Ok guys it looks like we are gonna have 3 teams, we have a lot people playing for the USA. I will draft a version of the 3 teams later, and you all can tell me what you think.

Just to note, everybody that has posted here will be included in a team.

We are not as strict as the real Davis Cup. I will not require anyone to sent in a passport

. Just make a decision based on what country you would like to play for and where you think you would have the biggest chance to actually play some matches.

As an incentive i would say that Ireland has 2 members at the moment (Mack hasnt officially responded in the team Ireland thread yet). USA on the other hand could field numerous teams.

davis cup is coming up soon what do u guys think of the following teams?
when i thought of these teams i not only looked at ranking and head 2 head matches but i looked at how u did against some of the top players....

team 1:
hollaa itz mike (captain)
tim tebowner
eze 17
infamousslappy
garghammel

team 2:
djarvik
sherlock 117
the cooler 618
coolhand (captain)
jaylove

i feel like both of these teams would have a good shot...and i wanted to put people on the same team who get along

I think the 1st team should be the first top 5 ranked. The second team 5-10.

I mean this is not "I like you lets team up" kinda thing. This is Davis cup. To give USA the best chance of winning, best players need to represent. Since we have more then enough, a secondary team may assemble. But the primary team has to be top players.

djarvik i honestly feel that eze, tim tebowner and i are the best 3 players....i dont understand why u would put djarvik and sherlock on the same team as then u would not get to play.....i know that u are ranked higher then them. but i dont see as many impressive matches.......

there arent enough results yet to go solely by rankings.... i think that the top 5 should all play each other, and then see who the top 3 are

I don't appreciate the last message at all. You made your point in the first post, second one was just unnecessary.

And guys, I am really getting tired of it. I have a new idea, instead of locking threads, I will start suspending the repeat offenders.
