Lol just had the most horrible match ever, I am using Basmakov atm , and went up against a Nakamura in a tournament , well lets its put it this way i won 6 points . lol . Im thinking that speed now is better than power , i have a bad habit of going for it too much and ending up halfway in the court once ive hit the ball ( old TS3) habit but just got hit behind so often it hurt ( that sounds weird i know) but im changing to nakamura haha, also the guy that played me ( Jetod) is superb may i add :D

I saw the score.... and I was like no way! Not even a game?

Yeah, Naka seems an early favorite, funny as when we tested him, most of the feedback pointed to weak FH and an "OK" player. By he seems to a beast!!!

What sets him apart for now? ...is that the skill of Shot Counter? To me, his reflexes combined with speed were his real asset.

Yes and that also proves the 'testing' of these players gives an disorted view. The combination of reflex and shot counter makes him definetely one of the best if not the best SIM tour player.. but don't you agree with me that becouse of the update the SIM tour has to be reworked?
You should be able to use higher strokes now, also powerplayers are unbalanced becouse of the new update.

No I disagree. Nothing needs to be reworked.

Not only that, I also disagree that Nakamura is the strongest player. His is not, even on the "paper".

Definitely Cannon or Fortis.

:P That's just it. There is no one best player. The trend now is going towards Naka. But I assure you, those players who win titles with Naka will win them with Rogers, Thompson or Fusman. Should they chose to try.

...and the players not winning with Rogers, will still be not winning with Naka.

There is no clear favorite. All players have a chance. That said, basliners with a good combo of strokes, speed and power are the easiest to play with. This is just the nature of the game.

Personally Mahone is a beast. So is Lopez.

Al it was a combination of Bashs slowness , weak backhand , Nakamuras speed , and angles , only thing i had going for me was serve and he stil returned that with ease . Yet i also think the most important point is that Jetod is some player tho i was just frustrated when i won my previous match with Bash against fortis 61 60 , but nakamura def has the speed and the reflexes
