Ridicoulous rule in ITST

There is something i got to say about this. I don't give anything for an win or an loss, but this has to go fairly and this rule in ITST is very ridicoulous.. Me and my opponent tried to play 1 whole day our game, but there were some technichal problem the whole day. So we appointed to play just 1 day after the deadline because of the problem, and we agreed both.. He contacted the host and told him the story, and he( Cp Morgan) said the folowing nonsense:

Matches that cannot be played due to technical issues are decided by a computer-generated coin-toss. I click a button. The results are then generated, posted and a results email is sent to each player.

The player who loses the coin-toss WILL receive all points earned for the tournament.

I understand that this has to happen somehow, but this is ridicoulous because it was just 1 day after the deadline, and we both agreed to play! and neither of us had any blame on this.. I came early back home now because we had an appointment to play and i see this on m screen..unbelievable! My opponent directly played his next round match and lost, so i can't do anything anymore about this but is very unfair and unacceptable. I know that there are many matches in the past that are played 1 day after the deadline, i suppose it was allowed because of the ranking or something..

Well the point that i want to make is that this rule has to change.. he should let us play 1 day afterwards, i could understand it if it was 2 or 3 days afterwards..
