I just finished my men's french match and I must say the lag made it very difficult to time anything. Maybe the worst lag I've ever encountered in TS4. It would pause or lag every time the ball was hit...which made timing nearly impossible.

I know it wasn't me as I have a top of the line connection here in America...so what can be done about an opponent's lag?

Nothing you just have to deal with it, basically. It's the nature of playing people on other continents

My opponents lag is a term that does not really exist. Lag is something between you and your opponent and several factors come into play. Most of which you have no control off like distance, how busy it is on the network and a lot more.

I think that the amount of players that have lag because their connection speed is too low is very small.

Even if you have a great connection it is still as fast as the weakest link in the entire chain. Some tips can be to play on a different time and to try and let the other player host.

true. its just that i never have lag with european players on WT...so i was very surprised to have such a bad connection

than you have really luck with playing your opponents .
i have not often laggy matches but of course from time to time i must play with lag .

hate lag sooo much ,its a funkiller ,but you can do nothing about .

in WT i quit directly when i have lag
