What time zone are deadlines set to?

Read through the FAQ and couldn't find the answer. When a tournament sets a deadline for a round end, what time zone are they referring to?

CET (Central European Time)

btw CET is the one you have to use to arrange your matches too
That being said, when the opponents are from places with different time zones, from Texas for example, there's no need to follow the CET to arrange their match, the goal here is to get as much matches played as possible, so making 2 guys from Texas arrange a match in CET would be absurd
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

It changes a bit i guess. Although we chosen CET we cant ask european hosts to update at american time and vice versa. How i do it is i update european matches in the evening and when i wake up the next day i just update the rest. Has become easy for me since i got my n900.

What is important is to have an appointment set when you play on the last day. This signals the host he can check in again the next day cause there is a pretty big chance the match got played when he was asleep. And when it is not played it is usually an easy walkover.
