How do you decide which court to use?

Postby KluddKalle » Tue, 05 Apr 2011 14:33

I played my first ITST tour match in TS4 the other day. It was the US mens clay court championchip, which I believe is played in Houston IRL.

And since Houston is in the game as a clay court I kind of expected to play that court. But for some reason the chosen court was Madrid sports arena.

I not complaining or anything, I'm just curious as to how you decide which court to be used. I personally prefer to play courts that are as close as possible to the real thing, but in the end it doesn't matter that much (I would still have lost as brutally as I did against mr Berson) :D

I agree. Both Casablanca and Houston are in the game so let's play on them.

For now, if you and your opponent agree to play on a different court BUT same surface - it is totally fine.

We will start fine-tuning the courts as times goes by. Some of them may be used more then others mainly because of visibility of the ball.

Madrid is one of the worst possible choices.

I picked Madrid for now as i liked it a lot myself and havent experienced all courts yet. Like Djarvik said we will finetune our choices quickly. Sometimes a court of a particular tournament is in the game but is horrible so we go with another court.

I don't know what's wrong with Casablanca or Houston. We should play on all courts for variety.

My fave courts are Barcelona, Casablanca, all the grass ones :) the Hong Kong arena, O2 and Paris masters. I also like Arthur ashe much more than TS3 where it was my least favourite court, I could never move well on it, bizzare. My least favourite on TS4 so far is Chile, god Damn can't see nothing!

As slicer and cro have repeated in this thread before, they will use most of the courts once they get done testing them out. Just trust them, TS3 used almost all of the courts, so just calm down and wait

I am calm (you probably didin't mean me anyway). Actually, I'm so calm that it becomes a huge disadvantage when playing TS4. I'm so calm that horse tranqualizers would be uppers for me. 8)

courts

Postby MysteryPlayer » Tue, 05 Apr 2011 17:11

playing on courts give different veriety becasuse playing on the same court every week is dumb and somebody might not like playing on the same court and maybe if it was on another court the opponent would of won. I think it is a big deal to play on different surfaces on this game as each one in different and unique

Ok, i probably was a bit to vague before. Tomorrow i am going to make a list for the management to use when creating tournaments. From then on we will see a lot more variety in courts. I didnt have time to do this before hence i picked one that i knew was a good court.
