You know whats lame? 80+ power and instant rocket. I played some guy just and i won ONE point on his serve. He had high power and speed, and every return whether it was perfect was just rocketed back.

I made one of these guys recently not sure whether I like it lol. I win a lot but it feels empty.

I LOVE playing sv players not jsut because haven't lost but because always interesting, the points feel dynamic not just baseline rallies which can be awesome but nothing compared to lobing a sv and him getting back you charging to net and drop shoting them picking it up making you bunt it then either win off that or they pass you lol.

I agree that is fun and drama filled, but when you get lobbed for the 40th time in the match at 5-5 in the 3rd the novelty has already worn off rapidly haha. The worst guys i have found for net play have been the guys with crushing/sniper passing shot and instant rocket. those two skills coupled with the lob which is easy as hell, makes any sort of attempt at net play impossible for me. It might just be me and i dont have the adequate net skills to counter it, i dont know. The guy i played earlier, i have high reflex stat and i return pretty well with my character, its just very disheartening to see you hit perfect ruturns right on the line/ in a corner which should be difficult to deal with, only to have them crushed away. Its even more disheartening to see you hit decent serves and a authoritative 1st volley, yet have a lob thrown up that lands on the baseline. 25 times. Without a patch, im starting to think that unless i hit a clean one-two winner, SV will not be a winning strategy in TS4, for me anyway.

I would like to hear the opinions of other guys though, see how they see things :)

The lob is redunculous. It really hard to volley against that, because by time you realise lob and then the player realises lol you buggered.

I'm sure a few have figured a method of destroying any weak lobs with easily but so many good lobs.

You just have to volley better, then you'll see fewer good lobs.

I'd be a lot more annoyed if you hit good volleys with 40.

Haha true I don't expect good volleys but I don't expect 100% lob success against me even when has to run for ages to get.

My volleys aren't bad I just accept can power through thing so really on good ol drop volleys although sometimes even with a soft ball and perfect timing can dump into net -.-
