Sim guy on reg tour

Postby Tamthewasp » Thu, 27 Oct 2011 18:49

Im thinking about taking a sim character on reg tour with gold coach.

Has any 1 done this yet?

Would the management object to this?

This is an excellent idea if you ask me. You can develop the feel for that player and just swap coaches. You may not get exactly what you want in Regular tour, but I think it should be fun.

I think it would defo be fun. Would also add a bit variety as the sim players are well balanced and a with a gold coach on, do you go for maximising the strong wing or bringing both into play.

Also a tournament where evry starts with the pre built sim player tgen adds any coach they want would be fun. I know this will never happen for many reasons. Woyld have been nice though.

Now what sim guy do I choose? Sadly im not good enough to take a sim player as he is on reg tour and challenge. If I was I would do this

It's an interesting idea but as you know yourself, i dont think you would get somewhere with it.
Reg tour and its setups + new update and generally TS4 problems, i dont see how a sim player can survive.
it should be interesting though.

In TS3 days, I played with SIM guy on regular tour wish good success. Bottom line is control. If you can control the points, the stats on the other side don't matter.

Serve well, return to neutral rally, gain control. Sure, its hard, but if you are a better player and tactician - you can be successful.

Checkout my TS3 match SIM vs Reg tour. Take a look at the player stats:

I know it may not be completely relevant, but you can kinda see what I mean. Serve well, return smart and generally look to control points, not trade blows.

Indeed! Risk made the game so good.

Here is one more:

I miss the freedom, I feel locked into my shots, like the AI makes me choose the shot, not me actually hitting the shot I want.

Lang with bickham or gobbi is looking a decent bet.
