Update deep shots.

This new update has killed my defensive game, im not sure if its the update or my Dpad or im going crazy, but is so much more harder to do deep balls in a defensive position.

Is anyone experiencin this or am i going crazy?

The patch makes shots in defensive positions weaker, so your shots will not be as deep in defensive positions anymore.

the position now influences a lot the quality of the shot, so you have to be on the right position to hit a deep and effective shot. So for defensive players is harder to block opponent's attack, but on the other side for offensive players, especially with less speed, it's harder to make very good attacks from bad positions or in defensive situations.
It's one of the most equal update from 2k czech, because all kind of players are affected by this nerf that made the game more realistic and more linked to the ability of the player than to the setup.

Yes deep shot are harder to do.
Deep shot less effective and powerful shot more effective (when you're an inside the court) made the 100 (or 98 ) power setup unbeatable.

yep defensive shots are less effective, so it's logical you noticed that, altough my defensive game didn't get weaker, I gues you just have to adjust, try to play more cs in defensive position they are still very precise
