i thought the rule was no abuse not no fh slices i use the to approach the net off the fh side a legit tactic so i will continue to use them but not abuse them

It says not to go nuts and do it too much. Dont worry about doing it every once in a while. Control is just fine no latter when or where. It's the power slice that's regulated.

Just don't do silly things, like not using one all match then breaking out 5 a rally in the 5th set tiebreak.

I think just try not to hit them. Maybe a control slice when on defense.

I only hit from the backhand to be honest.

So, what if I want to use powerslice with my bh, but he goes to my fh, would be hard to not use slice than...

I use slice as a defensive stroke, It's stupid you can't use powerslice with ur fh, and also not done, like I said how are you able to know if he will hit for ur fh or bh?

The thing is that you push the buttons even before you saw what your opponent will hit.
If you feel you will hit a slice. Just don't prepess. I know prepressing was necessary in the previous TS games but not in TS4.
But then I hit a lot of control shots

I hit plenty of "power slices" on accident.
And I don't like being discriminated against because I'm still playing ts3 with the wrong game in the tray.

That is exactly what we want to avoid Dennie, a power slice on defense from FH side. If you are on defense, then last thing you want to do is to press any button before seeing what shot is coming. Of course accidents mistakes happen....but you describing it as a strategy. Basically you saying that as soon as you realize you are on defense you quickly press and charge Slice button and have no choice of shot, even if it comes to FH side.

These power slices that land on the baseline while you are on full stretch is what we trying to avoid.
