The point is that we don't know how to glitch return.. So if it is done accidentally then it's not our fault..

And by way I ve practiced with u soo many times.. U never glitch return because if your opponent glitch returns then your player after serving automatically moves backward.. And whenever I ve practiced with u that never happened with me after I served and u returned my serve.. And also oshiee has 98 power 98 service.. He serves at 240 km.. Is it possible to glitch return on such a fast service??.. When I played oshiee I was barely able to see the ball so how does oshiee claims that Q-awesome-85 was glitch returning.. I don't get it at all

If you glitch return by accident, then you should stop the point and give it to your opponent.

If you are not sure if you are glitch returning, ask someone to play against you who does know, and have them hit a few to you.

Sorry Rob, but I don´t agree giving the point to the opponent. If you make something by ACCIDENT because you don´t know how to do it, you can´t be punished.

I really wanted to learn how to do it to to be able to avoid and to advice the opponents who do it sometimes. But, as the management thinks it´s better not to "spread the virus" to the community, I can´t accecpt to loose a point because I made it not knowingly. BTW, I never faced an opponent who gave the point after a glitch return.

I really respect you Rob, but i´m not with you in this one.

EDIT: BTW, there´s a long time that I don´t hit a GR...

What if you are playing a real match, and you touch the ball with your hand? What are you supposed to do?

Even if it is by accident, you are supposed to give your opponent the point. Why? Because you broke the rules.

It doesn't matter if it is on purpose or by accident - glitch returns are against the rules and unfair, so you must give your opponent the point.

Yea I agree with perfectace.. If we don't know how to do it then how can we prevent ourselves from doing it.. And that's the point it's not real tennis and obviously there is a difference between hitting a ball with raquet and with hand.. There Is always a chance that u win a point even if u do a glitch return.. There is no guarantee that even if u glitch return then u ll win the point..

These kind of thing will bring much more trouble than solutions, IMO, because I really doubt that the opponent will give the point after a GR.

Again, you want to punish someone who made something accidentaly, but he could avoid it if he knows how to?

I´m just pushing this subject because I still see some GRs happening sometimes and I NERVER saw someone give up the point or say, at least, I´m sorry.

Guys, i have no clue how to do a GR, but is there a difference between a GR and a very well timed and deep Top Spin return?

Yes, the GR pushes you to the back of the court, making you go far behind the baseline. And there´s nothing you can do about it. With a normal good top spin return, you can stay close to the line.

So that means that if i see my opponent run to the back of the court to return a deep top spin return i made, that means it was a GR?
