The real very hard CPU Challenges

Postby o Sinna o » Thu, 24 Mar 2011 10:57

I just managed to win against Agassi on "very hard" in 2 Sets (6 Games per Set) and the Result was 6:4 and 6:4.

Everybody who ever tried this knows how difficult this is. On this Difficulty Agassi hits Returns you ever dreamed of and every Ball he gets in a good Postion he hits back with a huge Speed and Length.

I don't know how you Guys play aginst him on very hard but I tried it a few Times before and lost always badly besides one Set where I could win 4 Games against him.

The Match I just played against him was 43 Minutes long.

I still have the Matchstatistik in Front of me on my other TV to show how close this was even if I made it in 2 Sets.

I made 11 Aces and Agassi 1.
I made 50 Winners and Agassi 52
I won 3 out of 5 Breakballs and Agassi 1 out of 6
And I made 69 Points overall and Agassi 66.

And because of the Aces. Not that you think I did it with my offensive Baseline Powerbomb because I did it with my defensive Baseline oriented Guy who has only 62 on Serve and 65 on Power. :)

Try it out against Agassi and let me know how it runs.

The very hard setting is competitive. I was up in the third set closing out a match in career and the AI just switched up it's pattern and started playing completely different from before. I closed it out in a tight third set tie-breaker. Of course that was like my first match. I now beat it with my eyes closed.

lol I don't want to challenge the Expertmode at all.

At least right now I mean. I am pleased with the very Hard Competition even if I just almost bagled Nadal in 6 Games per Set 3Sets 6:1 and 6:0.

The CPU in this Game is great. It's good for warm up Matches before you jump online.

djokovic is really hard to beat for me,wether using federer,nadal..he always beat me in the first two sets then i win the next two sets then he win the final sets..then i think using roddick with his big serve i able to beat him, but i lose 6-1,6-1,6-1 then i stop playing because it's pissing me off..gonna playing against him again after back from work..

Worked as intended , if you beat nadal in Roland Garros using Federer the game self destructs and a E-mail is sent to Nadal's promoter to pull his license from the game.

It is funny tough , I was playing Nadal Vs Federer at Garros my friend which just started playing 1 hour ago (but is awesome at real tennis and has played old TS games) and he picked Nadal and me Federer , well he beat me don't mather how hard I tried , he kept hitting high balls to Fed's backhand and won haha.

I want to say that in playing the CPU on VERY HARD during a grand slam it seems very different. I played my 1st grand slam in career on very hard last night. I am also playing real tennis! Pity me playing best of 5 and 6 game sets. anyhow I beat the 1st opponent a serve and volley guy 6-3 6-3 6-0, i beat tomic 1,1, and 1 i then proceed to stomp Federer 6-0, 6-0, 6-1 (this is the Fake Wimby dublin on grass mind you). I run into Murray at the semis (this is where in my opinon the CPU goes into the next level or something) I lost to Marray 6-0, 6-0, 6-3.

It is kinda fake to me to essentially breeze through the earlier rounds including Fed then in the semis. shots that were normally aces are getting suddenly return winners!? every shot is on the line or sliced so far off the court that no matter what counter i have i cant play the next shot as he will hit the opposite corner of where ever i am. To me this is obsurd.

Anyone else run into super cpu in the semi's and finals? Maybe i am not that good but i have beat people on here in the last week or so... i dunno?

stoutman: I agree 100% with what you're saying, I smashed the first opponent, then bombarded the opponent in the 1/4 finals, but then encountered djoko in the semis and got hammered

yep that's true but when you're confronted to federer or nadal for example in the quarter finals, i would expect this round to be more difficult than the semis against any other players :? :?:
