Hi all! What a game!

Postby stoutman111 » Tue, 22 Mar 2011 02:07

Hello everyone! I have heard of you guys (this website) before and now that top spin 4 is out i have been lurking. This is a great community of fans and gamers so i had to get an ID and join!

I have actually bumped into you guys online i think to i know for sure i played DJArvick -i think he had a Dolgopolv CAP which was pretty spot on. I have already had some TRUELY EPIC matches already. Even matches where i lose i feel really good about! I had another good match against SC4RY06 so shouts out to him if he's in here!

I won the French open online on this past Sunday and i really didnt think i had a shot. I knew when i got to the final i would be playing a good player. Actually he turned out to be a little cheesy with the standing outwide and hitting the serve way out wide but after losing the 1st set i was able to slowly figure him out and get out of the 2nd set with a tiebreak. Then i went on to win the Super tiebreak 10-3!!!! SOOO Pumped about that match which also got me the acheivement! (Im a small achv whore with games i like).

Also just got off a match where i was down against (William Watcher #29 in WT at the time) gamertag oDEVILISHo 0-2 and saved off 5 match points!!!!!!! I was almost at the point of saying forget this match as my hands were hurting from playing this for a while (I really mash on the controller) but i said "lets see what happens" not only did i fend off 5 match points i came back to win 4-2!

My guy is 13 defensive baseline and 7 offensive baseline. I tried to make him as close to me as possible in real life tennis (although my online version of me is 1000x better).

look foward to bumping into you guys online and maybe i will join a tourney here!! good luck to all and happy gaming

Welcome. Hope to run into you in some tournaments.

I'm surprised, actually if you make it to the finals of the grand slam it's pretty good competition.

You'll find the World Tour rankings don't matter all that much. The guys you'll face on this tour will be much better and the competition much deeper than World Tour. Some guys just play a lot of friendly and practice matches and no world tour, so they might not have a high world tour rank, but they are still better than most of the top 10.

Anyways, I think about 5 of the top 10 from the first season are currently members of ITST.

Ah nice.. So How do I go about entering the tournaments on this website? Is this something like Gamebattles? As in reporting scores after match etc?

Here is our FAQ with everything you need to know. Some of it has to do with previous games like TS1 or TS2, so don't worry about that.

I see you are not signed up for any TS4 tours yet. You are currently signed up for the TS3 tour for the Xbox 360.

So go to your personal page and click change your user profile. There you can select which tour to play and submit.

After that go to this page(if you wish to play the 360 TS4 tour):

http://www.intertopspintour.net/index.p ... ts4&gc=TS4

Here you will see all the tournaments currently open for sign up. Sign up for the tournament of your choice. The evening before the tournament starts the draw is released. You can see the draw by going to the tournament page. The tournament page is accessed by clicking on the tournament name. Once you know who your first round opponent is you have a certain period to play him. This period is mentioned in the draw. Just contact your opponent and play him as soon as possible.

An example of a draw can be seen here:
