Help Serve

I just bought a new PS3 and Top Spin 4. I am facing some problems in lesson 4 on the MOVE. Just can't get past the serve lesson. Whatever I try it is either too late or too soon. I barely managed to get past the flat serve in 30 minutes, then I got stuck on the top spin serve for an hour. Even if I don't swing there is simulation automatic for a swing and it says "Too soon" which is further confusing me as to what I am doing wrong.

The game doesn't allow me to go to further lessons without completing lesson 4.

There is a message asking would you like to watch how to hit this shot but there is no button to click to watch an instructional video.

Any help from TS4 veterans on how to get past the lessons stage for Move would be much appreciated.

Am I the only one facing problems with the Move version or just not able to locate the instruction videos (if there are any on the game).
