Federer's serve

Postby sam250 » Thu, 03 Mar 2011 15:36

Has anyone noticed Roger's serve in TS4, it is NOT NORMAl and scares me alot! It isn't even normal stance as in TS3 but now it is some kind of Serve A serve from TS3 wtf is that!!

The serving seems to take some getting used to and I haven't gotten used to it yet. Am I the only one who is completely and utterly disappointed with the demo? I felt like I was playing Virtua Tennis for a moment. Too easy. Oh well.

Most of the service actions and stuff of players is a little off tbh.

His serve in Top Spin 3 looks like **** Cilic's, much prefer this one. Though both kinda suck.

I think every thing in his motions are right apart of his serve, it is so increadible, one of the big complains about TS3 was that the players signature animations weren't good enough and now they give us this stupid serve to the best Tennis player in the history....

Yes maybe not in ITST but generally, TS3 had a lack of signature moves plus the ones there were pretty unaccurate

seriously speaking i don't care about animations at all, i won't be checking if Wawrinka has his forehand.... just a personal opinion.

that being said i know you Sam care about it cause you liked creating characters for ts3 so i understand you also want to have their shot animations
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Sam, I understand your attention to details ;) I "get" it. But for majority of ITST it is not as important as say - balanced stats, good game play, good controls etc...

Ahaha good thing that you understand :D
I am very sensible to these details and this one really disappoints me as at least serve animations of the most important pros had to be right or close to!! (but it's alright since the rest of the animations of Fed and Nadal after what I've seen are definitely right :) )
Yes I know for ITST the gameplay is alot more important but the animations also ARE important...
