not a bad thing in my opinion, it doesn't have to be easy to hit a winning volley, don't you think?
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

not at all, we don't want a VT2 scenario where you had to serve and volley to have a chance of winning the net play was that overpowered. it should have a definete degree of difficulty, i think in ts3 they got it nearly spot on, it took me literally hours upon hours to really get a grip on the physics of it, i didnt want to volley by holding double triggers and down, thats just a bit cheap and no fun. Most people go there only if the ball is a very easy put away but by taking the time to learn the way it works properly its a very strong weapon to have. Of course i still get passed a lot but the only thing that stops SV from being an actually effective strategy is lag and too much power from balls 1 inch off the floor.
what worries me is the amount of balls it took for the point to end... you dont have a 6 shot rally with someone at the net, they either put the ball away at the 1st or 2nd try, or are passed. although i think maybe the dev's played it this way to show off some gameplay, i dont know.

Im with Djarvik on this one. Look at the volley rally of Simon versus Murray. Yeah, its a 6 rally shot at the net but 3 of the passing shots of Murray are aimed directly at him.

Im more concerned about the fact i see players dashing from one side to the court to the other and still able to pull of a good slice shot. This annoyed me in TS3 cause you couldnt really end a rally. The opponent could always come back from impossible situations. Just a simple put away is difficult in TS3. Thats where the risk shot was useful in my opinion. Now i know some TS3 regulars will say that it is because i am crap at it. True, but as a casual gamer i hoped that was changed. We will see.

If the stamina works the way they describe - that that is perfect! Why? ...because yeah, you can lunge and get to a lot of balls, but once you get tired - you are done for the rest of the match. So you will need to manage your efforts. I just hope it DOES work as they say it is.

And these were not passing shots, these were none-charged-tap shots. I recognize them. You can play the same shot in TS3, it is just a bit slower in TS3. So if you manage to charge a bit and put the ball away from your opponent, as in PASSING shot....then all is well.

Yeah man. I really hope so too.

I remember with TS3 I was very excited cause of the way the described the game . But once it was there many things didn't turn out the way I imagined.

I mean I had my fun but still.

From what I heard TS4 will be an improvement. Will keep my reservations for now. So I will not be disappointed :-)

Thats a good thing to do really. I remember buying a Xbox360 + TS2, playing it and realising it was not the same amount of fun as the original. And it largely wasnt even the game its fault. I just had built it up so much in my head it could never have succeeded with me...

I was more reserved with TS3 and thus enjoyed it a lot more although i didnt have the time to play it as much as the original.

So watch out Djarvik ;).

One other concern I have is. The serve
Will it be again easy to get the serve in ?
Like 90% first serve ?

Not sure why I ask it here though :-)
